GENERAL ACTIVITY DIRECTIONS OF DEPARTMENT TO COORDINATE SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL RELATIONS WITH FOREIGN COUNTRIES (OKNTS ZS)

A group aimed at coordination of international relations of the Institute with the countries included into CMEA was organized at Radium Institute in 1965. Later it was reorganized into bureau due to extension of international activity of the Institute, and then in 1991 - into department to coordinate scientific and technical relations with foreign countries (OKNTS ZS).

General lines of department's activity:

management of bilateral and multilateral scientific and technical cooperation of the Institute with foreign countries in the interests of implementation of research and development efforts to be realized at the Institute;
participation in training of scientists and experts for foreign visits in accordance with bilateral and multilateral scientific and technical cooperation arrangements;
organizing of receptions at the Institute for delegations of foreign experts;
participation in arrangements for holding of international meetings, symposiums, conferences and in organizational management for contracts with foreign companies.
