SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL SERVICES TO BE RENDERED BY THE DEPARTMENT FOR RADIOCHEMICAL INVESTIGATIONS IN AFTEREFFECTS OF NUCLEAR EXPLOSIONS, SEVERE RADIATION ACCIDENTS, AND RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL
- Measuring of volume (surface, specific) activity of ?-radiating radionuclides in aerosols, atmospheric precipitations, surface and ground waters, soil, bottom sediments, and plantations;
- Measuring of volume (surface, specific) activity of 90Sr in aerosols (0.02-100 mBq/m3), atmospheric precipitations (0.2 -1000 Bq/m2), surface and ground waters (0.01- 500 Bq/L), soil, bottom sediments (1-5ž104 Bq/Kg), plantations (0.2-1000 Bq/Kg);
- Measuring of volume (surface, specific) activity of 238, 239+240 Pu radionuclides in aerosols (0.02ž10-4- 0,1 Bq/m3), ), atmospheric precipitations (0.02-1000 Bq/m2), surface and ground waters (0.001- 50 Bq/L), soil, bottom sediments (1-5·104 âË/ËÇ), plantations (0.02 -1000 Bq/Kg);
- Measuring of volume (specific) activity of tritium in surface and ground waters (20-1ž106 Bq/L), soil, bottom sediments (0.1-1ž103 Bq/Kg), plantations (0.1-1ž103 Bq/Kg);
- Measuring of volume activity of Kr and Xe radionuclides in atmospheric air: measurement range for 85is 0.8 - 103 Bq/m3, for 131Xe, 133Xe - 0,6·10-3-20 Bq/m3;
- Realization of γ-spectrometric territory survey with the help of γ-spectrometers mounted in high-flotation car;
- γ-Radiation measurements in territories and industrial premises.
Laboratories of the Department are authorized with RF Certificate No 42069-02 issued by RF Gosstandart on 25.06.2002, as the Laboratories for radiation monitoring, physical and chemical analysis of environmental objects and radiation safety.
