General lines of scientific activity
The Sector was formed in 1996 for the most part on the basis of laboratories of academician B.P Nickolskiy and professor V.I. Paramonova.
At present the Sector's employees conduct researches in the following general lines:
- development of HLW fractioning processes;
- search and investigation of new extractive agents;
- study and various-purpose application of fluid extraction;
- works in the field of biotechnology;
- development of procedures for processing of irradiated structural materials of thermonuclear reactor with the purpose of their further use in secondary fabricating;
- design of models of radiochemical processes and systems, using chemometric methods.
